A little about me
I am old in years, in my seventies, and probably look even older than my age (you
can't see the wrinkles in the above photo!), but I feel more or less young otherwise. I try to stay fit through exercise - jogging, biking, and rare mountaineering trips. I am a retired government worker and share my apartment with my doves, many of whom are very dear old friends and have been around for more than ten years. I became interested in birds when I was small as my parents were avid bird watchers. I really would have liked to have kept a
bird as a pet but we already had a cat and it was felt one pet was
enough not to mention the incompatibility factor. Time passed and then one day we saw this little diamond dove looking for seeds on the back lawn. And that was the beginning of all this.
